Loisaba Wilderness is set on a 150 square kilometre private conservancy situated on the edge of the Laikipia Plateau, 70 kms north of Mount Kenya. The wilderness area is the same size as the Ngorongoro Crater and larger than many of Kenya`s principal National Parks.

The Lodge is constructed from stone cedar and thatch and is perched high on the edge of the plateau looking south towards Mt Kenya. There are seven ensuite.

The lodge has a swimming pool and tennis court and game drives walks horse and camel rides can all be done from here.(they use English saddles here) Your room has a bed on a raised platform with a semi-thatched roof to view the stars at night.

There are large wooden French windows that open onto a private deck cantilevered off the escarpment with a waterhole 1000 ft below, drawing wildlife to it throughout the year.
