The Masi Mara is an incredible place and an artist`s paradise. Early August and late November is the time the migration comes to the Masi Mara although there is abundant wildlife there all year round. With the migration of wildebeest and zebra come the lion cheetah and leopard all big predators and a must to see on our safari.

The camp borders the Mara River and is a very relaxing place lots of birdlife and smaller animals can be seen here as well as the hippos noisily enjoying the water just a little way from the tents makes it a totally unique and beautiful place.

Carrolleannea is an experienced and accomplished artist in painting and drawing in the bush. She welcomes artists of all standards and of course non painting partners. Being a non painting partner on safari with a load of artists isn`t as bad as all that and we make sure that there is as much to do for them as for the artists.

You will have the opportunity to sketch and paint in the wild and enhance your natural appreciation for the beauty of nature. Being inspired comes naturally in the bush and there will be no shortage of ideas for stimulating the imagination for the next painting, you will also be with fellow artists which is also lovely to share ideas with and learn from.

Carrolleannea will be with you on your safari through Africa helping and giving advice on painting in the wild, a very much one to one teacher nothing is to trivial for her to help you with. Carrolleannea is totally self taught in painting and currently holds exhibitions in America Europe and the UK. She is currently working on new pieces for her exhibition at her gallery in Stow on the Wold in the Cotswolds for the autumn of this year.
